Gonna make for an interesting show…

With live music coming to a proper halt around the world during the COVID-19 crisis, people and organisations have definitely gotten creative in keeping the spirit of it alive. One such party who’s taken it’s own unique approach is gaming service Fortnite, who has recruited acts like hip hop god Travis Scott, DJs like Dillon Francis and more for fire sets within the game. Now, they’re coming through with some more heat, announcing EDM dynamo Diplo, rap star Young Thug and singer-songwriter Noah Cyrus as part of its next Party Royale concert.

The event, officially named “Diplo Presents: Thomas Wesley With Special Guests Noah Cyrus and Young Thug,” is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, at 9pm EST (Friday, June 26 at 11am AEST). During the concert, weapons will be disabled so players can enjoy the music without fear of being killed within the game.

Fornite launched the popular Party Royale mode last month. It allows gamers to virtually hang out with mates and play games while enjoying live entertainment. Definitely sounds like a proper good time, and no doubt this will be rowdy af to watch from within the game.
