Sound technician: “How much distortion do you want”? DMA’S: “Yes”…

Never one to make things too easy for their fans, loveable larrikins DMAS have foreshadowed their upcoming single ‘I Don’t Need To Hide’ with a cryptic teaser, and in typical DMAS fashion, it’s left us with more questions than answers.

Running for a total of 23 seconds, the clip is centred on the band in a rehearsal space, chatting and tinkering away in what seems like a regular soundcheck for the Inner West outfit. Except, there’s a tonne of distortion on the vocals in the clip, muffling the words spoken in what’s a total pulling of the leg from the ‘Delete’ singers.

To top it off, the band have left a trail of breadcrumbs in the form of QR code posters across the UK, which leads directly to the clip below. Considering the lengths they’re going to to drum up buzz for the mysterious snippet, we’ve got to concede that their trolling levels are at an all time high right now.
