Soul vibes peaking…

Donald Glover has just dropped come through for all of us in what is one of the trickiest and nerve-racking times we’ve ver lived through. After years of speculation, years of teasing, the Atlanta rapper has taken to a secret website called donaldgloverpresents.com.

The album was first found when a Twitter user posted the website and members of Glover’s management team retweeted their link, seemingly confirming the credibility of the site.

The album artwork features a post-apocalyptic sketch of a landscape whilst 12 songs loop on a live stream. One song has been identified as ‘Warlord’ which Glover performed at Coachella last year, as well as another song being identified as ‘Time’ featuring Ariana Grande. There’ also a collab with 21 Savage and SZA that’s yet to be identified.

The site also features a mystery text box where fans can type in phrases or words and submit them. There’s been no confirmation on the purpose behind this, but fans have speculated that it’s for submitting suggestions for the name of the new album. Kudos to Donald for being so interactive with his fans.

This marks the first time Glover has released music under his real name, seemingly ditching the “Childish Gambino” moniker. This doesn’t come as a shock, as 2018 saw Glover wanting to retire Childish Gambino to lead to the “next phase of Gambino”. Safe to say we’re keen to say what this new direction entails…
