Can’t argue with it.

Drizzy gets his chips with his dips moment.

In the 90s it was Mariah Carey, in the 2000s, and now Billboard’s Artist Of The Decade for the 2010s will go to Canadian sadboi Drake. Edging out Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, and Adele, Drake will go on to claim the prize at the awards on May 23rd at a ceremony hosted by Nick Jonas. It’s an announcement that will come as no shock to fans of Drake, but will certainly give further fodder for outrage from the army of haters who can’t stand the former Degrassi actor.

The numbers speak for themselves though. Over the course of the decade he’s had nine No.1’s, won four Grammys, won a record-breaking 27 BBMA’s, and become one of the most-streamed artists of all time. Plus he once lint-rolled his pants at an NBA game which is more bizarre than impressive, but still…

Whether this is big news, small news, good news or bad news for you, it’s probably a good time to revisit ‘Hotline Bling’ and remember how this song was fucking everywhere for so long. Enjoy:
