Drake has been dropping significant money around Miami lately, just because he can. Earlier this week, he donated $25,000 to Miami Senior High School and gave them some OVO-branded uniforms, and also put $50,000 towards tuition fees of University of Miami student Destiny James. Now, Drake has just made it rain in all aisles of a Miami grocery store – by paying for everybody’s goods.
According to E! News, Drizzy turned up at Sabor Tropical Supermarket on Tuesday, grabbed a megaphone and happily announced that he would be paying for everybody’s groceries in the store. According to shopper Guille Deza, “no one knew he was coming at all, we just came to do groceries. Cameras were being set up so we were all wondering what was to happen.”
Drake ended u spending $50,000 on goods for the customers, but that’s not all – Deza says that Drake even went the extra mile with his generosity. “He took photos with everyone who asked and shook hands. He helped people find what they were looking for and encouraged all—to buy everything they want and to fill their carts,” he said.
Drake’s latest splurge is said to be part of the music video for his recent single ‘God’s Plan,’ but still, you can’t hate on a man who helps people buy their groceries. We need Drake to come to Sydney ASAP and pay for our avocados, so that we have some chance of purchasing property in the near future.
