No one is safe when Drake has new music out…

In news that isn’t at all unexpected, Toronto superstar Drake’s new Scary hours 2 EP is storming up the charts, each of its three songs killing streaming services and decimating all in their path. So much so that the almost god-like, seemingly unmovable Olivia Rodrigo hit ‘Drivers Licence’ could now be very well bumped out of the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100, by none other than the Scary Hours 2 lead single ‘Whats Next.’

It’s definitely a home run of a track, debuting atop the global Spotify chart on Friday with 6.856 million streams (the biggest debut of the year). In total, it’s projected to clock a crazy 140-170 million first-week plays in total, which should be just enough to bump ‘Drivers Licence’ out of the top spot, a place it has occupied for the past eight weeks.

However, this is Drizzy we’re talking about, a man no stranger to the top spot. From ‘Gods Plan’ to ‘Nice For What’ to ‘In My Feelings’ to his most recent single ‘Toosie Slide’ (just to name a few), the man has spent more weeks at number one than anyone else.

Pretty crazy stuff, it just goes to show the power of Drake and his musical offerings. It’ll definitely be interesting to see what song comes out on top in the streaming battle to come. For now, check out both songs below to be reminded of the beauty of ‘Drivers Licence’ as well as the undeniability of Drake’s ‘What’s Next’ below.
