Elton John has added five additional performances to his 2023 run of Australian and New Zealand shows, supplementing his rescheduled Auckland performance with more dates in Newcastle, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Christchurch.

John, who first began the Farewell Yellow Brick Road world tour in 2018, will bring the multi-year tour to Australian shores in January of next year, with the first pit-stop slated to hit Newcastle’s McDonald Jones Stadium on January 10. Over the following week, the legendary musician will take to Melbourne’s AAMI Park (January 13), Sydney’s Allianz Stadium (January 18), and Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium (January 21).

The new run of shows will wrap up the Australasian leg of Elton’s ‘Farewell’ tour, and will complete the some 233 shows he’s performed in the region. Tickets to the encore performances will be available for purchase on Monday, August 1, with Frontier and Telstra Plus members gaining pre-sale access on July 28 and July 26 respectively.
