Having thrown some of the most hyped parties that Sydney’s seen in awhile, the Settings˚ crew are returning with another promising soiree this weekend.
Focusing on hip-hop and the bouncier sections of electronica, Settings˚ have curated a cohesive party that merges music, art and fashion into a slick package that fills out dancefloors convincingly. This Friday night, they’ll be taking over Civic Underground (and its commendable booming sound system) for another party, bringing in their first international guest ever. On headline duties will be Noodles, currently in Australia as the tour DJ for R&B queen Kehlani on her SweetSexySavage tour.
Also on the roster will be Tommy, Jordvn and Tennessee of the Settings˚ crew, as well as frequent collaborator Ella Maximillion and Esar from the Strxnger clique. In preparation for Friday’s antics, Settings˚ have crafted a mammoth 70-minute mix filled with woozy and atmospheric bangers from the contemporary rap realm.
