For those wishing to spend their New Year’s Eve at Falls Festival in Byron Bay, here’s your second chance.

When tickets to Falls Festival went on sale back in August, it’s no surprise that the Byron edition sold out within hours, with a lineup featuring Flume, Run The Jewels, Liam Gallagher, Vince Staples and Daryl Braithwaite playing in a prime coastal location. While many punters left empty-handed, disappointed and destined to spend NYE drinking boxed wine at a mediocre house party, here comes some great news.

Falls organisers have just been approved for a capacity increase at the North Byron Parklands, meaning that they will release an extra 2500 tickets to the event. This is an absolute Godsend for anyone wishing to head to the festival, so get your clicking fingers ready – the tickets will go on sale from 9:00am AEDT on Thursday, November 2, right here.

In addition to the extra passes, Falls Festival have also added six local acts, exclusive to the Byron Bay event. Among the new additions are Sydney emcee Manu Crooks, off the back of his excellent Mood Forever EP, as well as magentic R&B artist Wafia. They’ll be joined by West Thebarton, Alice Ivy, Party Dozen and WAAX.

Take a look at the updated lineup below, and don’t miss out on your second chance come Thursday:
