Joining the two international headliners is a massive Australian contingent of our biggest stars. Following on from Splendour In The Grass and their comeback album Wildflower, The Avalanches will be bringing their energetic and multi-faceted live show to Falls Festival. Alison Wonderland will be returning home for what we can only assume will be some colossal bass-heavy sets, joined by local electronica colleagues like L D R U, Client Liaison and the more turnt-down Ta-ku. Violent Soho will be delivering riffs aplenty, while Triple J Hottest 100 winners The Rubens will also be performing. Emcee wise, we have Illy, Remi and Tkay Maidza on the bill – big vibes!
When it comes to internationals, there’s everybody from hip-hop pioneer Grandmaster Flash to the voice behind ‘Lean On’ and ‘Cold Water’, MØ. And did we mention how excited we are for AlunaGeorge? Keep in mind that this is only the first announcement, so expect some more goodies over the coming weeks. In the meantime, grab your tickets from Tuesday, August 30 from 9:00am local time right here.
