In between throwing down at the world’s largest clubs and being a downright menace across the globe, homegrown larrikin Fisher has found time to release a new music video for hist latest single, ‘TAKE IT OFF’. As expected, the latest offering from the ‘Losing It’ deckslinger is full of his signature cheekiness and carefree nature, all the while juxtaposed by the stylistic allure of AATIG.
Directed by Corey Wilson, the music video is a trippy journey into the unknown that takes influence from the world of martial arts and what appears to be a nod to the 1982 sci-fi epic, Tron. Specifically, old mate Fish and AATIG take turns playing a juiced up version of Tekken or Mortal Kombat at a local arcade, all while we’re being sucked into the digital world. Speaking of which, it seems like the casting budget for the flick was downright endless, with the likes of Former UFC and Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold and Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera appearing as the video game characters in the flick.
It’s all a bit trippy to say the least, but of course, Fisher comes through in strides with plenty of humour and bravado, going so far as stripping off his kit at one point as he fully embodies the ‘Take It Off’ mantra to a tee. The overall trippiness of the clip is also enhanced by the use of AI, with the Wilson explaining, “The actual creative process of making the video was out of this world. Throughout the film it flashes between two different realities and creates a new visual experience through Ai. All the fight and dance scenes were shot in real life and animated into characters after.”
It’s another home run from one of the nation’s biggest international exports. Check out the video for Fisher X AATIG’s ‘Take It Off’ in full below.
