October Records are gathering their friends and fam from around the country to launch October Nights, a series of semi-regular parties dedicated to dance. Taking over the Civic Underground and its ample sound system, Lancelot will be headlining the gig after his recent successes all over Europe, while a special guest is set to be revealed soon.
Sidechains will be returning to Hudson Ballroom tonight to launch the EP from Sydney staple Grasps_ in all of its brash, metallic glory. Ruins, PTwiggs and Secundus will be on support duties, and Sidechains aren’t letting up – they’ve just announced that next month’s jam will be headlined by Mallrat.
There’s plenty of Oakley athletes in town for the Australian Open of Surfing, and they’ll all be down at Manly Wharf Hotel tonight for another Prizm party. There’ll be plenty of goodies to give away on the night, while DJ Ben Morris will be on the decks.
