Flume has worked with the likes of AlunaGeorge, Raekwon and Chet Faker in the past, but here comes his most crucial collaboration yet – and it’s with Greenpeace.

The eyebrow-raising fusion has arrived in the form of a short video, combining unreleased Flume sounds with visuals of the colourful and lively Great Barrier Reef. The marine treasure is being placed under increasing threat from climate change, which Greenpeace names as the “single biggest threat facing the Great Barrier Reef.”

Flume has gotten behind the cause, providing a silky, upbeat instrumental to swim alongside video footage from Greenpeace, Dean Miller and David Hannan, created by Daniel Daperis at LateNite Films.

“Flume’s video reminds us what’s at stake and why it’s so important that we get as many people as possible to join the fight to stop the expansion of the fossil fuel industry. We are the last line of defence. And we can work together to stand up against big polluters and hold our governments to account… The Reef may never recover to its past glory, but we can take action now to protect it disappearing completely,” Greenpeace says.
