Some intimate shows for one of the world’s greatest ever bands…

Mobile phones, house music, Walt Disney and more; the US state of Chicago has given us many gifts over its prolific existence. However, one of its most important may be the birth of punk band, Rise Against. Formed in the summer of 1999, the four piece have traversed the world for their unique brand of punk infused with social commentary, with the outfit still going strong a quarter of a century later. Now, they’ve announced that they are finally returning Down Under for two very special headline shows early next year.

Set to take place on February 4th and 5th, the shows will take place across Melbourne and Sydney. The shows will be a touch more intimate than Rise’s usually gigs, with the four-piece slated to play in Melbourne’s Forum and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre, respectively. Armed with decades of records, along with their latest EPs, Nowhere Generation and Nowhere Generation II. There’ll be plenty for fans old and new to dig into, along with years of their musical styling that remains just as pertinent in 2023 as it has been throughout their generational career.
