Now that Masterchef is over, let’s face it – you really don’t have anything better to do on a Tuesday night. It’s all going down at Newtown Social Club in the heart of the band’s Inner-West origins, and judging from the reception that Gang of Youths pulled at the Ampitheatre at Splendour In The Grass, this might be your last chance to see them in a venue this small. The show was originally intended to be held at the nearby Slyfox, but the demand has been so high that they were forced to upgrade to Newtown Social Club just a few hours out.
Gang of Youths are currently riding high from the release of their new Let Me Be Clear EP last weekend, so expect some old favourites and a couple of new belters, too. We suggest you head down early – very, very early to secure yourself a spot to this gig. Gang of Youths will hit the Newtown Social Club stage at 9:00pm, so you can be safely in bed and ready for work by midnight. Rock n’ roll!
