The organisers at Summer Sounds festival in Adelaide have upped the ante on their month-long festivities, today announcing the addition of four new acts to what was already an all-star lineup. From January 21, freshly-added artists Genesis Owusu, Jess Day, CLYPSO and George Alice will grace the stage at Bonython Park, joining previously announced performers like Mallrat and The Jungle Giants.
For their turn, 23-year-old rapper Genesis Owusu and electro producer CLYPSO will join industry heavyweight RUEL in what promises to be a headline show for Adelaidean festival-goers. Days later (January 24), triple j Unearthed winner and ‘Circles’ songstress George Alice will share the stage with Lime Cordiale and Baker Boy. And if all that wasn’t enough, festival organisers have guaranteed an electrifying close to the summer, with indie-folkster Jess Day joining the already sold-out duo of Ballpark Music and Spacey Jane (January 29).
