A few weeks ago, Nelly was announced as the headline act for the biggest throwback hip-hop tour to hit Australia which also stars Dante Thomas, Mya, TLC, 112 and other acts who soundtracked your popped-collar, gelled-hair years of underage drinking.

While many of those arena dates have sold out, never fret: Nelly has announced his own headline dates so that you can appreciate the St. Louis hit-maker on an even higher level. It’s been 16 long years since his landmark debut Country Grammar dropped, and it also recently became one of the few rap albums in history to earn Diamond certification, driven by timeless anthems like ‘E.I’ and ‘Ride Wit Me’. From there, Nelly would keep the bar raised high with one of the greatest crossover colalborations of all time in ‘Dilemma’, as well as the immortal getting nude anthem ‘Hot In Herre’.

Nelly will be playing intimate headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Darwin as well as two shows across the Tasman in New Zealand. Nelly live at The Metro Theatre?
