The most wholesome festival description we’ve ever seen…

The team behind Strawberry Fields are back in full force, and they’re bringing a tonne of good vibes with them in the form of Good Times Festival. Set beside the banks of the Murray River, the town of Tocumwal in NSW is set to be transformed on June 18-19, putting on a two-day extravaganza full of music, art, food, workshops and plenty of local delights.

Friday night will see a takeover of the Terminus Hotel, with acts like IZY, Anna Scionti and Southbound Snake Charmers bringing their unique brands and genres of tunes ready for the whole fam. Saturday will see a complete closure of Deniliquin St, with attractions like a Speakeasy Bar and fortune teller on hand helping festival goers revisit their collective pasts and while getting a glimpse at their unique futures.

The Tocumwal Memorial Hall will also offer a range of ticketed shows, with acts like Josh Teskey and Ash Grunwalk showing off their new album while other national trasures like Benny Walker, Emma Donovan & The Putbacks, BUMPY and numerous more offering vivid performances that’ll electrify the Hall into Nirvana.

There’ll also be sustainable art experiences in the form of lanterns on the Riverina Lantern Parade, courtesy of local school students and artist Lana Scoville. Keeping up the notion of sustainability, Good Times will work to reduce waste and limit its impact on the environment, putting multiple return buses on sale from Melbourne, Albury, Shepparton, Cobram, Barooga, Berrigan and Finley.

Registrations for early tickets open today at 9am, with general sale on next Thursday at 9am. Head here for further ticket details.
