Why has it taken so long?
Looking ever so pleased with himself (and why wouldn’t he be), Gucci Mane has appeared as the centre-piece for Gucci’s latest campaign, the Gucci Cruise 2020, in a video released overnight. The clip is full of colour, glamour, and contradiction, with director Harmony Korine bringing that ultrabright palette we saw in Spring Breakers and Beach Bum to the camapign.
Set to the tune of Giorgio Moroder’s tune ‘Chase’, the video sees Mane and collection of eccentrics, including Iggy Pop and Sienna Miller, party in a mansion, in ways we peasants will never understand. On top of the collab, Gucci Mane has also announced a new album, Woptober 2, will be out October 17th. Check out the video below:
