Exciting times…

In some kick ass news that’ll no doubt make you feel old AF, pop megastar Halsey has her first child on the way! The news came after the ‘Without Me’ singer posted a series of gorgeous photos of her baby bump to Instagram with the caption “Surprise,” followed by a slew of baby emojis. Tagging her screenwriter BF Alev Aydin in the post, the multi-talented superstar wrote “Heart so full, I love you, sweetness,” in the comment section.

No doubt this is extra special for the young singer, especially given she previously suffered a miscarriage, which inspired her Manic ballad ‘More’. Speaking to Apple Music about the ordeal, she for a long time thought that getting pregnant wasn’t possible for her, saying “For a long time, I didn’t think that having a family was something I was going to be able to do, and it’s very, very important to me.” Well, looks like that day has come!

It’s been quite a rowdy couple of weeks for Halsey, who recently was forced to cancel the world tour for her 2020 smash album Manic, posting a statement online that read “Despite our absolute best efforts, there is no guarantee I’ll be able to tour the currently scheduled dates. I miss seeing all of you in the crowd every night more than anything, but I need to prioritize your health and safety.

“That being said, the Manic tour is officially cancelled.”
