If you attended RL Grime’s show in Sydney last week, you may have spotted Halsey casually strolling around the venue and even stepping behind the decks at the afterparty.
She’s currently in the country for a swift promotional tour following the release of her Hopeless Fountain Kingdom album, but unfortunately has only performed at an intimate, private show in Sydney. Thankfully, she has let slip in an interview with Triple J that she’ll be back “in less than a year.”
Despite the best efforts of her media team, Halsey made a sneaky reveal on the Triple J breakfast airwaves in her interview, but gave no further details about her return. Still, it’s safe to say that some Australian Halsey shows are coming in the near future, which will no doubt be the biggest yet – especially considering her new album and omnipresent collaborations with the likes of The Chainsmokers.
Halsey last visited Australia during the 2015/2016 transition for some festival appearances, and with NYE/NYD events slowly starting to reveal their lineups now, let’s hope that Halsey lands on at least one of them. You can watch some of Halsey’s interview below:
