To say that it’s been a bit of a rough trot for musos over the past 18 or so months would be a massive understatement. With shows cancelled (then re-booked, then cancelled again) and the hospitality industry, where many artists find work when they’re not gigging, put under a massive strain, it’s been a struggle to say the least for the Australian music industry. We’re wounded right now, but there’s still plenty of fight in this dog!
The folks at Harbord Hotel definitely agree, which is why they’re throwing a massive show next Friday the 19th of November in support of Ausmusic T-Shirt Day. Indie-pop powerhouse Loretta, soulful crooner Oly Sherman and Northern Beaches songwriter/producer Aloe Vera are all locked and loaded for the show which will raise funds for Support Act and help artists who’ve been hit by the covid slump.

Young Henrys also have a hand in helping out on the night so you can expect Newtowners and Natural Lagers to be flowing like a river! Head here for more details and don’t forget to wear your favourite Aussie musos tee on the night, which kicks off at 8pm. Oh yeah, and the best part is it’s all FREE!
