Heaps Gay Announce Return Of Roadwerk Festival For Sydney & Newcastle

It’s back.

After taking a year off in 2019 due to actual road works (bloody Westconnex) Sydney party-starters Heaps Gay have announced the return of Roadwerk Street Party in January 2020. The festival which will be bringing a multi-faceted program of live music, performance, art installation and DJs including international selectors, is heading to Saywell St Marrickville on January 18th and a TBC location in Newcastle the following weekend.

Street food at the event will be curated by Claire Van Vuuren of Bloodwood in Newtown, so you can guarantee you’ll be well fed, and with beers coming from 4 Pines Brewing Company and cocktails featuring Southern Comfort, Fireball Whisky and Red Bull, you’ll be adequately sauced up too.
