Melbourne-based Lil Jaye has achieved more than most rappers his age dare dream to, having already opened up for the likes of Juice WRLD, Lil Mosey and Xavier Wulf and clocking hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify. It’s a far cry from being born in the suburbs of Paris, but like Jaye’s music, his upbringing is totally unique.

So much so that we figured we had to link up with the Collingwood OG for a special ‘On Hold’ to sneak behind his signature brand of slick rhymes and stanky beats. And staying true to form, he delivers one of our most memorable episodes yet, touching on everything from best gigs to Uber Eats, Tame Impala and plenty more.
