Hot off the release of their latest LP, Cellophane, Brissy duo Holy Holy (made up of Timothy Carroll and Oscar Dawson) are keeping the momentum going, today announcing a bustling national tour that’ll see them play across all the major cities and regional towns the nation has to offer.
Filled with tried and tested records like ‘Pretend To Be’, ‘Messed Up’ ft. Kwame, ‘Ready’ ft. Sumner and more, the new project sees the Aussie mainstays take their alternative blend of indie rock and pop into new territory, a sentiment perfectly embodied in their live video for ‘This Time’, which was released this morning.
Featuring multi-talented MC, Tasman Keith, the clip is a hazy, fly-on-the-wall, snapshot into the trio’s creative processing together. Together with Holy Holy frontman, Timothy Carroll, Tasman helps curate a tender and inviting mood as he utilises his powerful singing and rapping voices for their respective voices. Their harmonies on the pre chorus are equally as potent, adding waves of tenderness as the two vocalists trade utterances with one another.

The two Aussie mainstays clearly have chemistry with one another, and luckily, we’re set to be treated to plenty more of it, as Tasman will be joining Holy Holy out on the road next year. Speaking on the upcoming dates, Carroll exclaimed, “We’re looking forward to building a wild and expansive set for this tour, playing some of the brand new works off Cellophane with special guests and digging into the back catalogue to find some gems to get lost in again” while adding, We’ve got the triple threat Tasman Kieth along for the ride, and he’s incredible.”
It’s definitely going to be an important run of shows not only for Holy Holy and Tasman Keith, but for the Aussie music scene as a whole. Presale kicks off this Thursday at 10am, with general sale available from 10am the day after. For now, check out Holy Holy’s fun list of Aussie dates below.
