The best find…

Daft Punk is without a doubt an act that’s on everyone’s bucket list to see live. Their transportive live shows and mind-melding bangers make for an elemental combination strong enough to move heaven and earth, and more specifically, transport it to some totally other universe where the laws of physics are governed by EDM thumpers. Thus, to say we’d absolutely jump at the chance to see them live is no overstatement. However, that probably won’t be for a while if we’re honest. And to be honest, although Daft Punk are amazing, it’s apt to say that their earlier years were some of their best.

Well, get ready beauties, as some anonymous legend has found a high quality recording of Daft Punk’s iconic Lollapalooza set from 2007, and was kind enough to post it online. To make things even better, the footage was mixed live for the screens at the festival (you know, the big ones you look at when some tall fucker is in front of you), so it’s as high quality as you can get.

From ‘Harder Better Faster Stronger’ to ‘Aerodynamic Beats’ and ‘Da Funk’, the two producer-gods bring a hour-and-a-half of straight bangers, accompanied by some of the most psychedelic lights that honestly make me feel like I’m at a festival while watching it (to do that in the current climate is no small feat).

I’m gonna stop hyping it up now and let you get to the main event. Make sure to pump the bass and put one of those rainbow kaleidoscope glasses on, as you left Daft Punk transport you to a world beyond our own below.
