Melbourne based duo Hopium replace sweet pop sounds with ghostly synths in their remix of fellow Burn-city band Alpine’s latest single ‘Foolish’.

While the original has all the brightly-light bounce of an upbeat pop track, Hopium’s remix puts a darker spin on their sound, warps the vocals into a seductive whisper and turns ‘Foolish’ into a 3AM dance floor anthem. The band are just about to drop their new album “Yuck” (out on June 12th) and the duo have just released their latest original single ‘Right Now’. Listen to ‘Foolish’ here:
