Last year, Ocean Alley dropped their debut album Lost Tropics and things have been non-stop since, to say the least.

Ocean Alley have a sound that’s hard to pin down: It’s most commonly described as a blend of psychedelic rock and reggae, but hearing it with your own ears evokes a warm, radiating energy that becomes even clearer at their live shows. The Northern Beaches band have just wrapped up their biggest headline tour to date – where all six shows sold out – and they gave a live premiere to their brand new single, ‘The Comedown.’

Ocean Alley are also currently the Triple J Unearthed Feature Artist of the Week, and with so much attention currently shining on the group, we caught up with them to discuss life on the road (plus the most annoying touring partner) and their most memorable fan.
