Lastlings are making music that you certainly wouldn’t expect from two youngens, let alone two youngens from the Gold Coast.

While the region might be known for its unlimited sunshine and rambunctious yahoos on Schoolies week, the sibling duo deliver soulful tunes with a profound maturity that stretches far beyond their years – evidenced by their breathtaking single ‘You‘. Having reached the final stages of the Triple J Unearthed High competition with regular play on the station, Lastlings have also been billed on the upcoming FOMO and Beyond The Vallery festivals, while they’re also on the brink of two sold out shows in Sydney alongside Vera Blue and LANKS.

Most excitingly, you can’t help but get the feeling that the best is yet to come from the Lastlings. We caught up with the two on their debut headline tour to take a few snaps and talk about the Queensland music scene, their successes so far and why they love Jamie XX so damn much.
