Holy hell. Hold onto your hats as Victoria’s Always Live has just announced they’ll be cramming a lifetime’s worth of amazing shows in to seventeen days over November and December 2024.

ALWAYS LIVE is back for round three, kicking off a 17-day music fest across Victoria from November 22 to December 8, 2024. This year’s lineup is packed with awesome gigs, most of which are free or affordable, spreading the love to regional spots like Gippsland, Geelong, Ballarat, and Bendigo. Whether you’re into chill vibes, live podcasts, or hands-on workshops, there’s something for everyone, keeping Victoria firmly on the map as Australia’s live music capital.

A major standout this year is Anyma, the electronic artist behind the epic Genesys albums. He’s hitting up Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse on November 23 for his first-ever show in Australasia. And get this—they’re setting up the biggest screen in the Southern Hemisphere just for his set. Over at The Forum Theatre, punk legends The Offspring are bringing their high-energy hits to a more intimate crowd—expect classics like ‘Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)’ and ‘Self Esteem’.

One of the most exciting highlights is the legendary Jack White performing at The Corner Hotel in Richmond. This isn’t just any gig; it’s a full-circle moment for White, who famously wrote the riff for ‘Seven Nation Army’ at this very venue back in 2002. That riff would go on to become one of the most recognizable in rock history. Catching White in such an intimate setting is a rare treat, and he’ll also be rocking out in Ballarat at the historic Civic Hall. This is a must-see for any rock fan.

Tina Arena is marking 30 years of her iconic Don’t Ask album with a special show at Mornington Racecourse on December 7, featuring a killer lineup including Richard Marx, Daryl Braithwaite, and Kate Ceberano. Missy Higgins is wrapping up her sold-out tour with a dreamy outdoor gig at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on December 6, joined by Dan Sultan and Mia Wray.
