The Queens of the Stone Age frontman has announced the collaborative record will be out on October 25th.

It’s been a while between drinks for Josh Homme’s experimental side project Desert Sessions, with their last released that heavily featured PJ Harvey, Volumes 9 & 10, now sixteen years old (don’t know about you but that just made me feel very fucking old). Anyway, there’s a newbie on the way and the list of collaborators looks pretty tasty. ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, British funny man Matt Berry, Endless Boogie guitar lord Matt Sweeney, Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears and more are named on the track listing (below).

Never guilty of taking himself too seriously, Homme has released a video featuring his buddy Liam Lynch breaking the news of the release. Check it out below, and pray that Desert Sessions 11 & 12 will encourage Homme and co to release the rest of the Desert Session catalogue on Spotify.
