Having wiped his Instagram a few days ago, before continuing his Trumpian war of words with anyone who challenges his views on Pete “Skete” Davidson, Kanye West has been issued with a 24-hour ban from the social media site. A spokesperson for Meta has said that the rapper has “violated their policies on bullying and harassment”.
It follows his racist remarks directed towards Trevor Noah who delivered the below “unpacking” of the situation between Kim Kardashian, Daividson and Ye. Kanye then posted a screenshot of a Trevor search along with slurs at the South African comedian.

He’s also taken aim at comedian DL Hughely, which initially seemed to come out of nowhere, but is suspected to be in response to an interview with DJ Vlad, in which Hughely suggested that Kanye is borderline stalking Kim Kardashian.

Since then DL Hughely has taken to twitter to joke about the situation and Kanye hearing voices and having “people inside his head”, which has also attracted criticism.

Who knows whether this will change the way Kanye uses the platform, which since the disintegration of his marriage has been strictly to openly vent his grievances with the world. It is starting to get pretty ugly, bordering on sad, and we’re sincerely hoping that this will be the last we are forced to use the “Kimye” portmanteu…
