When Bronx emcee French Montana dropped his Wave Gods mixtape earlier this year, there was one track which had everybody talking.
‘Figure It Out’ featured the very notable addition of fellow New Yorker Nas dropping a guest verse, as well as an auto-tuned Kanye West on the hook. The two rap legends certainly made their presence felt on the mixtape, and now the single has received the video treatment after a few peeks on social media over the past few months.
The clip takes place in a desert lined with abandoned planes, with French Montana & Kanye West rapping on top of the colossal vehicle with authority. Nas steps in looking very NYC/Queensbridge in his Timerlands and khaki outfit, while there’s also a few motocross riders performing stunts because why the hell not? Extreme sports make everything more interesting. Of course, it wouldn’t be a rap video in 2016 without some ~subtle~ product placement, which includes bottles of Ciroc – no surprise given French’s alignment with Puffy and Bad Boy.
