Kanye West went to great lengths to become a billionaire. Becoming one of the greatest Hip Hop artists of all time, starting a fashion empire, and now, turning over all of his financial records to Forbes. Seriously, after weeks of Forbes not including him in their annual billionaires list, the publication has finally confirmed he is in fact in the billionaires club.

The magazine is reporting that West is valued “a bit over’ $1 billion, with his sneaker empire being the primary factor. Other notable factors include his publishing rights, real estate holdings, and, wait for it, livestock.

Prior to being confirmed as a billionaire by Forbes, Kanye was just a bit jaded that they hadn’t already including it on their annual list, saying that they were “purposely snubbing me”. He also said to a Forbes reporter “You know what you’re doing. You’re toying with me and I’m not finna lie down and take it anymore in Jesus’s name.”

Word. If there was ever a cause Jesus would’ve wanted his name invoked in, it would be Kanye’s quest to be confirmed as a billionaire…
