It seems Yeezy really can’t stay out of the news lately, his various Twitter rants, song snippets and literally everything he does lighting up the stratosphere almost immediately. However, this time he’s made it for a pretty cool reason, photographing his wife Kim Kradashian in a collab Fall/ Winter 2020 editorial for AnOther magazine. The shoot also featured photos of Michele Lamy, taken by fashion designer Rick Owens.
The shoot has Lamy and Kardashian wearing each other’s designs to express their “unexpected kinship”. They actually did the project during the COVID-19 lockdowns, with “Lamy in France and Kardashian in the US”, as well as director Paul Kooiker in the Netherlands.
It’s a pretty cool shoot tbh, with the photos of Kim meant to capture her in a “pensive and venerable” state while the photos of Lamy see her in a “restless fit”. Artistic styles and inspirations for the pics ranged from Robert Bresson, Bernhard and Anna Blume, helping to highlight contrasting personalities between “people who we’d assume don’t have much in common, let alone share a common sense of reality, which is what makes this relationship so interesting.”
