Katy Perry Announces Australian Tour For 2018

It might be over 12 months away, but Katy Perry has locked in a 2018 Australian arena tour, which will mark her first shows in the country in four years.

Off the back of her latest album Witness and a whirlwind promotional tour of Australia, Perry has announced shows for July and August 2018, hitting most major cities with Sydney and Melbourne scoring two dates each. The pop icon recently collaborated with incoming visitors Migos on the lead single ‘Bon Appetit’ and its ultra controversial (and slightly cannibalistic) video, while producers on Witness include Australians Hayden James and Golden Features. Could the local dance heroes score a support slot for Perry’s upcoming tour? Let’s hope so.

See all the dates and details below. Curiously enough, the dates fall around the same time as Splendour In The Grass, so let’s hope we see Katy Perry frolicking around the Ampitheatre. Tickets go on sale from Wednesday, July 19:
