Making boss moves…

Hot off featuring on Justin Bieber’s Justice album and killing his Tonight Show performance, The Kid LAROI has switched things up on his dedicated fandom, sharing a piano rendition of Drake’s 2011 smash ‘Shot For Me,’ taken from his Grammy-winning album Take Care.

The cover was released as a part of his Spotify Singles session, which sees one original and a cover performed as a part of a joint release. Thus, along with ‘Shot For Me,’ LAROI of course performed a fiery rendition of his track ‘WITHOUT YOU,’ which has been exploding across the world since its release.

The ‘Shot For Me’ cover sees LAROI strip things all the way back as he totally lets loose over the ivories. It’s pretty impressive to see how far he’s come on the vocal side as well, projecting a pretty solid tone and power across some super high notes. And of course the ‘WITHOUT YOU’ rendition is classic LAROI, set over a simple guitar as he effortlessly swaps between his chest voice and falsetto as he jams out the tune that helped propelled him to superstardom.

Speaking on his cover for the Singles Session, LAROI said in a statement “I chose Drake because he’s my favourite artist. ‘Shot for Me’ is one of my favorite songs of his off of one of my favorite projects and that made it really easy for me to do.”
