While they may be pushing it with their April/May “summer” claims, organisers of Summer(ish) Sounds Festival are dealing up some tasty lineups for us.

Who doesn’t want summer to end? I know I don’t. And, considering that we were kinda robbed of festivals this summer, I reckon it’s fair for Summer Sounds team to want to keep radiating that big season energy – especially when it comes to hosting some of the country’s biggest artists on their stages.

Following on from their hugely successful Adelaide and Melbourne events, today’s announcement sees them this time heading to Brisbane with the likes of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, The Avalanches, Violent Soho and Ball Park Music each headlining over April and May. To be honest, even the support acts announced so far sound like bloody rippers: The Murlocs, Tropical Fuck Storm, Tired Lion and Seathru have all been attached to various shows.
