Melbourne songstress Kira Puru takes to the studio for here ‘Molotov’ video and washes it down with a national tour announcement.

Green screens create a world of endless possibility. From the red desert, to the depths of the ocean, to a world of infinite Kira Puru’s, it seems you can pretty much do anything with a computer and a piece of green cloth. Of course, it certainly helps if you have the real Kira Puru and a thumping track to go along with it.

Directed by Tanzer, the lo-fi clip is a great platform for Puru to display her sass-filled dance moves as she gets down to our favourite song named after a fire-inducing projectile. “‘Molotov’ is an anthem for misfit and party animals, the clip is a celebration of all the things I love; bad dancing, collage, photo booth, general absurdity, champagne…” Puru says. “I also wanted to give people a little look into how unhinged the live shows can because I have a whole bunch coming up.”
