As the weather gets hotter so too do Red Bull Sound Select’s monthly line-ups.

Red Bull Sound Select – an innovative artist development program from the global brand that teams up with tastemakers in cities around the world to give a party platform to local talent  –  launched in Sydney last year, and already they’ve thrown down a stack of amazing events across the city, engaging the curatorial prowess of local guns I OH YOU, and Travis Banko from Laneway Festival for some awesome nights.

February sees FBi Radio get behind the wheel for the first time. The hugely respected Sydney alt-radio institution has handpicked Melbourne’s KLLO for their Sound Select shindig – a duo who’ve quickly enamoured one and all with their beautiful moody electronica; the strength of their sophomore EP Well Worn has already set them on a solid touring path with spots at Splendour in the Grass and across Europe and the US.

Kllo will be joined by female poet / rapper, Kimchi Princi, whose been carving a name for herself in the Sydney indie scene with her slinky raps, and “sad Goth party jam”-makers  HABITS, who’ve been heating up dancefloors in Melbourne with their insanely energetic live sets.

Entry is cheaper than a bus ride ($3!) if you RSVP via www.redbullsoundselect.com. Capacity is strictly limited so you’d be wise to hit that RSVP earlier rather than later. As would you to roll through the party early, where you can get in on some bespoke food and drink.
