Marking 15 years since the release of Inside In/ Inside Out…

English rock band The Kooks have today (June 11) announced the dates for their upcoming Australian tour. Celebrating the 15-year anniversary of their debut album, Inside In/ Inside Out, the tour will coincide with the band’s appearance at Grapevine Gathering, where they’ll perform alongside fellow headliners Peking Duk, Ballpark Music and The Veronicas.

Slated for shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, the Australian tour will see The Kooks perform the entire tracklist from their 2006 debut, as well as additional songs from their five-album discography. The string of October shows precedes what will be the band’s sixth studio LP, 10 Tracks To Echo In The Dark, which is due for release later this month (July 22) and was previewed with the single ‘Cold Heart’. 

The Kooks will first take to the stage at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall (October 4), before hitting Melbourne’s Festival Hall (October 6) and wrapping up their Australian leg at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney (October 12). The Kooks will share the spotlight with fellow rock outfit The Vanns, who’ll provide support across all three dates.
