In what’s a huge win for Sydney’s music scene, Inner West watering hole The Lady Hampshire has announced that it will be reopening as a dedicated live music venue next month. To celebrate, the beloved bar has announced the full lineup for its official relaunch along with the full program of bands for April and May, and after a quick look over it, it looks like we’re gonna be spending a lot more time in Camperdown in the coming weeks.
But first things first, the opening weekend will kick off on Friday, April 14th, with FANGZ to taking the stage, accompanied by special guests DEDPAN and Wicked Envy. On the Saturday, indie-rock outfit Pacific Avenue will perform, along with JUNO and Darcy Lane. To top things off, there will be a full tattoo pop-up and free nail art available both days (keep me away from the former at all costs).

Other local artists set to play throughout the two months inclued Bugs, Close Counters, Bootleg Rascal, and These New South Whales. It’s a whole lot of bang for your buck, and the best part is that it’s 100% free! All you have to do is RSVP here.
Speaking on The Lady Hampshire’s rebirth, the Entertainment & Event Manager at PUBLIC Hospitality Group, said, “Bringing The Lady Hampshire back to life with live music as the focus is exactly what Sydney has been asking for. We think The Lady will be the destination for all types of musicians and patrons.”
Exciting times for Inner West music lovers and Sydney’s live music scene as a whole. Check out the full lineup for The Lady Hampshire’s opening weekend as well as the full April and May program below.
