On Wednesday morning, the results of Australia’s same sex marriage vote will be revealed, and in anticipation of a resounding ‘yes’ vote, The Lansdowne are throwing a mid-week thumper.

Since reopening back in June, The Lansdowne has once again established itself as a key player in Sydney’s live music and party scene, even hosting our own Halloween party across its three levels last month. Now, the space is being used to support the LBGTIQA community with a ‘YASS!’ party hitting the venue this Wednesday, kicking off at 2:00pm and running until way late.

The celebration of love will feature GiRLTHING DJs providing tunes, as well as The Magda Szubanski’s, who are described as “Australia’s premier & original tribute lip syncing parody drag band.” What a title! It’s set to be one hell of a party for a good cause, and you can find all the essential details over on the Facebook event page. Also, it’s free!
