In September, LCD Soundsystem returned from a long studio hiatus with American Dream, their first album in seven years. It was a formidable comeback for the band, who will now perform in Australia for the first time since the album’s release. They’ll be playing the biggest Australian shows of their career, including stunning outdoor gigs in Melbourne and Brisbane at the tail end of summer.
LCD Soundsystem will be joined at all shows by Nick Murphy. The singer/producer formerly known as Chet Faker has been keeping busy since reverting back to his birth name, releasing the Missing Link EP and more sonic curveballs like the brooding ‘Medication.’
