Lil Wayne celebrated his 38th trip around the sun in the most extravagant way possible yesterday, receiving an assortment of gifts and gestures from his nearest and dearest. However, the standout gift was easily the new McLaren 720S given to him from Young Money president, Mack Maine. Taking it a step further, Mack actually drove the car to Wayne right off the car lot (gotta give it a proper test drive).
The new whip reportedly costed $400,000 USD (around $565,000 AUD). No surprises here, but Wayne’s ride has received some sick as hell mods, including a colour-changing paint job which transitions from black at night to purple at day (how dope!?).
The car is also said to come with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 that produces 710 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque. Inside the ride features a seven-inch touchscreen paired with a four-speaker audio system, two USB ports, and Bluetooth connectivity, among numerous other features.
