Something to look forward to…
Hip hop fans rejoice! Dynamite duo Lil Wayne & Mannie Fresh have a joint album on the way, set for release sometime in 2021. The two confirmed the collab project during a recent episode of Young Money Radio.
“That’s something the whole world has been asking for forever,” the two acknowledged while speaking on Young Money Radio. “Before it’s over with, 2021, after this whole coronavirus bullshit, we will drop the album and it’s just gonna be solely me and him,” Mannie Fresh stated.
The news of the two working together should come as no surprise, especially since they’ve been collaborating for years now. They’ve also teased the album on several occasions, but it seems COVID-19 is prompting the pair to take advantage of all the downtime together, while at the same time fulfilling their fans’ wishes.
Mannie also added that he already has a bunch of tracks with Wayne that they could certainly used for the album, but time will tell whether they start from scratch or run with what they’ve got so far. Regardless, we’re keen af. Check the clip of them confirming the album below.
