Headlining the event is Lil Wayne, who’s been an omnipresent force in Southern hip-hop for decades. From his early days in Hot Boys to manning the ship at YMCMB – and laying the foundations for Drake and Nicki Minaj to flourish – Weezy’s tumultuous career has to be marvelled, except for that weird rock/skateboarding phase which he had a few years back. The announcement comes off the back of his new project, Dedication 6.
Joining Wayne will be two contemporary trend-setting producers in rap, who have crafted countless beats that have commanded club dancefloors over the past few years. DJ Mustard (YG, Ty Dolla Sign, Tyga) and Metro Boomin (Future, Migos, 21 Savage) will be dropping all the heaters at Jumanji Festival, while the lineup is rounded out by We The Best rapper Ace Hood.
The Jumanji lineup isn’t done just yet, with promoters promising that there are more acts to be unveiled. The two lucky Australian cities in question for the event are Melbourne and Sydney – see the details so far below, and stay tuned for more info:
