Big moves…

International superstar of music and Hollywood Justin Timberlake has teamed up with one of the most in demand and soulful artists in the game Anderson.Paak for ‘Don’t Slack’, and of course the tune is an absolute jam and a half. The track comes from the Trolls World Tour soundtrack and it’s safe to say JT should defs link with up with Paak in the future.

The tune sees Anderson dig deep into his soul bag, with the pair delivering a catchy guitar driven track overflowing with southern flavouring. It’s fair to say Anderson bodies the tune, with JT supplying backing for the Ventura singer/ rapper where he can. Speaking to Zane Lowe about working with .Paak, JT said that they “ended up with, like, three or four ideas in, like, three hours”. Them boys ain’t wasting time.

Anderson will voice the character Prince D in the film, with Timberlake voicing Branch. The two took to Instagram to give fans a sneak peak of their characters.

JT also teased a possible joint project with .Paak, saying “I hope he doesn’t mind that I’m gonna say this right now, but we talked about a possible joint project. We talked about it, but yeah, he’s a busy man too”. Safe to say that’s the understatement of the year.

The Trolls World Tour soundtrack is being produced by Timberlake and LWA favourite Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther, The Mandalorian) and will also feature Mary J. Blige, George Clinton, Kelly Clarkson and more. It’ll be available March 13 via RCA records, whilst the film arrives in theatres April 17.
