As we head into warmer weather here in Australia, dance trio Major Lazer have just dropped a single that’s sure to stay on repeat all summer long.
‘Blow That Smoke’ once again flexes their pop finesse with a dash of Caribbean flavour, also recruiting Swedish vocalist Tove Lo for a zesty affair. And while new Major Lazer music is always welcome in our ears, the track is sure to leave a bittersweet taste for fans of the group, who also recently announced that their next album – dropping sometime in 2019 – will be their last.
“[Our next album will have] a bunch of stuff you haven’t heard [over] the last ten years,” Diplo says in an interview with Complex. “Next year marks our last album, so we got a lot of stuff in between now and then.”
