Impossible not to bop to…

In 2020 it’s clear that the modern day house GOATs are starting to emerge, and French producer/ DJ Tchami might just be above them all. Already dropping his beloved Born Again/ Buenos Aires EP earlier this year, the house megastar is now getting busy on the remix side, taking on San Francisco’s son Justin Martin’s ‘Stay’, and of course, the remix totally slaps.

The literal sound design of the track alone is worth praise, Tchami putting this mad translucent overcoat on the tune as it feels like we’re in an underground bunker surrounded by infinite glitter and boundless neon lights. Dalilah’s vocals work ever-so perfectly as well, complimenting that bionic synth with a purity of the soul. There’s not a dull moment in the tune, and that drop is a proper blast of euphoria, one that you can so see your local DJ dropping in the middle of a set (whenever we get real-life DJ sets again) and everyone letting out a gorgeous “AHHH” in response.

It’s a bit of a double edged sword when producers drop dope tunes like this, as they’re totally sick and gives us EDM lovers something to obsess over for the next however many days. But, it just reminds us of how long it’s been since we’ve probably seen those artists in action, and how long since we’ve enjoyed the beauty of live EDM in all of its complexity and wonder.

Regardless, the track is sick, and you can bet I’ll be blasting this on repeat for the next day or two. Check it out below.
